Ohio’s Percent for Art legislation provides funds for the acquisition, commissioning and installation of works of art for new or renovated public buildings with appropriations of more than $4 million.
Since the legislation went into effect on July 1, 1990, more than 100 projects have been completed. The completed projects have brought public art into many areas of the state. Major cities as well as small communities have benefited from the program.
