The Columbus State Archives house the rich history of Columbus State Community College. Columbus State was founded in 1963 as Columbus Area Technician's School, and became Columbus Technical Institute in 1965, and in 1987, transitioned to Columbus State Community College. The Library's physical archive houses historical materials related to the college's history and growth. The Columbus State Digital Archive provides access to this vibrant history, to promote student success, and build a stronger community through sharing the past, present, and future works of this institution.
