Once you know the potential candidates, you'll want to learn a little bit more about them. Every candidate and elected official from President to local government can be easily and instantly accessed through the Voter's Self-Defense System.
Use Project Vote Smart to find candidate's voting records, biographical and contact information, positions on the issues (political courage test), public statements, campaign finances and more.
If you requested an absentee ballot the Ohio Secretary of State website allows you to track your ballot. You can check and see the date your application was received and processed with the Board of Election (BOE), what the application type is (usually absentee), the date the application was processed by the BOE, and the date your ballot was received.
