The Argentine Network for the Right to Idenitity - Canada/USA (Spanish) was created to help spread the voice in North America about the more than 500 children missing during the Civil-Military dictatorship in Argentina. It was in searching for these children that the human rights association called Grandmothers of May Square was born in 1977. Since then, 128 grandchildren have been found. They are still looking for the rest of the missing children, who would now be adults, and may be anywhere in the world, with a fake identity and fake family history. If you are (or know of someone) born between 1975 and 1982, of Argentinean parents, and have doubts about your identity, please contact redxlaidentidad.CanadaUSA@gmail.com
"We develop our activities in close articulation with the Human Rights Association of Grandmothers of May Square - also known as Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, who are recognized around the world for their contributions in the fields of jurisprudence, genetics, psychology, and international law in defense of the rights of children. We are part of a network of government and non-government organizations working in different provinces in Argentina, Europe and North America."
