Activities

The Activities tab includes tasks for students to complete either in class and/or for homework on a variety of topics and skills. If interested in using any of the sources provided in the Writing Repository, please download documents and/or copy links and add them to your Blackboard course shells. Students should not be given direct access to this instructor-facing Lib Guide. Thank you.

Checkology is a free platform with engaging, authoritative lessons on subjects like news media bias, misinformation, conspiratorial thinking, and more. Through interactive online activities, students develop the ability to identify credible information, seek out reliable sources, and apply critical thinking skills to separate fact-based content from falsehoods. You and your students will need to initially set up a free account, but access should be fine once this and a preliminary walk through in class is done.
