You must be signed in to Primo VE to request items.
If a book or video is available at Columbus State, you can request it be put on hold for you at the Circulation Desk at Columbus or Delaware Libraries.
In this case you will see a Request link in the Get It section of the item information screen.
Clicking this link will bring up a popup for you to set which library you want to pick it up at, then press Send Request.
The item will then be put on hold for you at the chosen library's Circulation Desk to pick up with a photo ID.
If you want to request something you cannot find in Primo VE, you must use the Interlibrary Loan Form.
After performing a Beyond My Library search to look for an item, at the top of the page you will see: Still didn't find what you need? Click here to send a request. This link will open a form where you can provide us with information about the title you are looking for.
When we receive it, the item will then be put on hold for you at the chosen library's Circulation Desk to pick up with a photo ID, or emailed if it is an article.
If Columbus State does not have the item you need, but someone in OhioLINK does, you will see the Request a Copy section with a big blue GET IT button with "Delivered in 7 days. Keep for 42 days."
Clicking this button will bring up a pop-up window where you can select which library you will pick the item up at or confirm your email for an article, and press Send. When we receive it, the item will then be put on hold for you at the chosen library's Circulation Desk to pick up with a photo ID, or emailed to you if it is an article.
If this box does not contain a Delivery and Keep times, then the request will go outside of OhioLINK to our Worldshare ILL system where we will try to find a copy for you. This may take more time, but you will be notified when the items arrives and told how long you may keep it for. This box looks very similar and follows the same form format.
