Primo VE Help: Your Library Account

Library Account Interface with Loans, Requests, Fines, and Blocks

Where Is My Library Account

Your library account is now part of the Primo VE platform

You can access your account with the Sign in link in the top right corner of the page. If you are already signed in, it will show your name instead.

Login with your normal CSCC username and password.

Loans and Requests

For books you have checked out or requests you have made, look at the first two tabs.

  • The Loans tab will show the title, due date, where you picked it up and, if renewable, a renew link. You can also press the down arrow on the right to get more information about the loan.
  • The Requests tab will show the title, and what type of request - whether from Columbus State or Interlibrary loan, and gives you the option to cancel, or press the down arrow for more information about where you are in the request process.

Personal Details

The far right tab is your personal account information.

  • Personal Details shows your account expiration date and group - student or faculty/staff, your school email address being used for library communications, and your default interface language.
  • You can change this language to any of the provided options - this will change many of the labels in the system to the selected language, but not all of them, and will not affect the language of the results of searches.
  • If your preferred language is not in this list, please let the Library know, and we will see if your language is an option we can add in the system.

Fines, Fees, Blocks, & Messagess

If there are any issues with your account, check the second two tabs.

  • Fine & Fees shows you details about any money you may owe for late or lost fees on items you borrowed.
  • Blocks and messages can show up if you cannot borrow any more books for some reason such as overdue materials, or other message the library staff may leave for you.

Favorites

You can also see anything you have saved while logged in with the My Favorites option in the dropdown menu in the upper right.

  • You can see any items you have saved on the first tab.
  • Any searches you have saved are on the second tab.
  • And any search history that you have done today on the Search History tab. Once you close your browser, this tab will be cleared.
  • If you are not logged in, you can still save searches and items, but they will go away when you close your browser.
