National Poetry Month April 2021

The library hosted two free virtual events with poet Marcus Jackson for National Poetry Month 2021:

Marcus Jackson was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio.  He has a BA from the University of Toledo and an MFA from NYU.  His poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine and other publications.  Jackson, an assistant professor of English at The Ohio State University, is the author of Rundown (2009), Neighborhood Register (2011), and Pardon My Heart (2018).
