Esri's Know Your Neighborhood app provides the top three tapestry (consumer) profiles of a ZIP code. Searchable by ZIP code, it is useful for understanding regional markets and visualizing annual spending habits, disposable income, and demographics.

Finding Consumer Profiles using ESRI

1. Access the Know Your Neighborhood search by clicking the link.
2. Click "Explore Your ZIP Code."
3. Enter a ZIP code. Try the ZIP code where you live, where you work, or other areas you think might be good candidates for employment.
4. A map with the selected ZIP code highlighted will appear on the left side of the page.
5. On the right side of the page, see data like spending habits, disposable income, and demographic population for the area.
6. Look at the section of this page under the headline Tapestry Segmentation. By scrolling down under this title and clicking Learn More, you can access a full PDF with further demographic information on the chosen ZIP code.
