Please Be Safe!
The only safe way to look directly at the sun during an eclipse is to use special-purpose solar filters, like eclipse glasses or handheld solar viewers.
The library has a very limited supply of glasses. However, glasses can be ordered online, and local organizations like public libraries may be having events where patrons can obtain glasses. Check your local library's website to learn about how you can get a pair!
