Wil Haygood is a Columbus, Ohio native and writer. Haygood worked as a journalist for the Charleston Gazette, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Boston Globe, and the Washington Post. Haygood is also a biographer and memoirist, and has authored over a half dozen books as well. Columbus State has been fortunate to have Haygood speak at the college several times. Haygood will read from his book, Colorization: One Hundred Years of Black Films on October 25, 2021.
