Columbus State Library and the college as a whole provide resources relevant to LGBTQ+ staff and students like research databases, journals, and support services.

College Resources

Columbus State Pride

Student organization. Purpose: To provide support, interaction, education, outreach and advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Questioning, Pansexual, and A-spec students on the campuses of Columbus State Community College.

Student Advocacy Center

Students can access assistance with housing, food, transportation, and more.

Mentorship

Columbus State offers several mentorship programs with specific groups for female-identifying students, male-identifying students, former foster youth, first generation students, and many more.

Title IX

Columbus State's Title IX (9) coordinator and policies are in the Compliance Office. Title IX protects members of our college community based on protected class, some of which include sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and parental status.

Victim Advocacy Services

This webpage contains both campus and community resources for counseling, crisis management, and legal assistance.
