The OhioLINK library consortium is supporting Ohio academic libraries with databases made available through the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) funding. As an OhioLINK member library, the CSCC community will now have access to the following databases, some for a limited time.
JoVE Science Education videos teach science concepts and laboratory methods through engaging and easy-to-understand visual demonstrations, making remote instruction more effective when in-person lab demonstrations are difficult or not possible. The JoVE Core product is the equivalent of a video textbook, using high-impact animations to explain scientific concepts clearly for students. JoVE Lab Manuals for Biology and Chemistry are online alternatives to a comprehensive lab manual and contain Instructor Prep, Concepts, and Student Protocol videos for each lab offered. LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) apps designed by JoVE allow instructors to easily find and embed content into Learning Management System (LMS) pages for on and off campus viewing.

It can be searched for a particular topic or disease and will return results on clinical trials, reviews, methods, studies, and clinical answers, and is suited for use as supplemental course materials at the undergraduate and graduate levels, for technology assessments and economic evaluations.
