The Difference between Data and Statistics

Data is raw information. Data or data sets are primary sources that are the result of research studies or surveys.

Here is an example of a data source - Data.Gov

Statistics are the collection, organization, interpretation, and analysis of dataStatistics are found in tables, graphs, and charts.
