This site is a freely available archive of electronic texts about religion, mythology, legends and folklore, and occult and esoteric topics. Texts are presented in English translation and, where possible, in the original language.
JSTOR Open Access Content
More than 2,500 Open Access ebooks are now available at no cost to libraries or users. These titles reflect JSTOR’s high standards for quality content and are freely available for anyone in the world to use. Users won’t need to register or log in, and there are no DRM restrictions or limits on chapter PDF downloads or printing.
Started as a simple video lecture collection, Khan Academy is now an independent organization with materials including lectures and exercises for learning at all levels; the website covers an extensive breadth of subjects.

Mason OER Metafinder
George Mason University Libraries developed an OER search engine which searches 15 of the best OER repositories with one search query.
The Association of American Medical Colleges facilitates the open exchange of peer-reviewed health education and assessment resources. Users must sign up for a free account in order to download materials.
The Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching (MERLOT) is one of the oldest collections of OER. The collection is large and diverse.
MIT was among the pioneers of OER, creating their OpenCourseWare project more than 15 years ago. It remains among the most popular repositories for OER.
National Science Digital Library
The National Science Digital Library provides high quality online educational resources for teaching and learning, with current emphasis on the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines—both formal and informal, institutional and individual, in local, state, national, and international educational settings.
The OAPEN Library contains freely accessible academic books, mainly in the area of humanities and social sciences.
