Produced and presented by the Midwest Institute of International and Intercultural Education and co-sponsored by Community College of the Midwest Institute, The Genesis of Chinese Writing & the Art of Calligraphy was a traveling exhibition dedicated to the art and practice of traditional Chinese calligraphy.
The Power of Words is as much a tribute to the tens of thousands of people organizing and pouring their hearts into those cards and letters as to these legendary grandmothers who still search for their grandchildren now worldwide.
The Thurgood Marshall lecture and film series was hosted in February 2016. Several faculty members will offer lectures on topics in history, race relations, and some of the issues Marshall faced during his celebrated court cases.
