Commissioned by the Ohio Percent for Art program, as part of the academic center C & D construction, Vault is an alignment of three steel and black granite sculptures located on Mt. Vernon Avenue. The piece transforms into a 30-feet tall vaulted red steel sculpture located across the street off of Cleveland Avenue.

Vault was completed in 2005 by David Barr and represents "energetic movement and an aesthetic linkage connecting campus buildings, walkways and streets." source
